CiboChat Blog
There's a new voice in the PALAZZI community. CiboChat is an exciting blog created by Apicius International School of Hospitality that brings together the different voices of PALAZZI - students faculty, friends from the local Florentine community - to express how we interact with food. It is not your classic blog on restaurants in Florence or Italian recipes, the concept is rather an approach to widening perceptions of how food is lived in a city like Florence and by the people, whether locals or visitors, who experience it.
To kick off the blog's new direction, we are offering an up-close and intense coverage of PALAZZI's Tuscan-themed events at the James Beard Foundation and the Astor Center. Read about how Special Event Management and Food & Wine Production students focus on feature ingredients and dishes, unique wines, and how their involvement in pre-production phases at Apicius is deepening their relationship with Italian food. Follow us through event preparation in New York and the staging of each event for delicious tidbits, exclusive glances, and snapshots behind the scenes in one of the world's most exciting and prestigious places to be for food!
