F_AIR IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2012 ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE RESIDENCY
During their residency, the 2012 Artist-in-Residence will work on a solo project to be exhibited at F_AIR and/or their affiliated art institutions, while also teaching academic courses and organizing seminars/workshops for the Palazzi departments of fine arts and visual arts for the Palazzi schools FUA and DIVA. The Artist-in-Residence will live and work in the studio apartment located in the F_AIR building, Via San Gallo 45; the facilities for the selected artist include a private kitchen and bathroom, with utilities included, and the selected artist will work for at least 24 hrs per week for the commitment of the residency. The artist will also fulfill a project in collaboration with the students of FUA during their residency at F_AIR.
The selected artist will teach at least one academic course from the departments of fine arts/visual arts and provide a list of at least 5 courses that he/she would be able to teach. The Artist-in-Residence will also submit a proposal of activities to benefit the artistic growth and academic experience of our students; all proposals will be evaluated and approved by the commission and the institutions academic coordinators.

2ND 2012 RESIDENCY: May 14th to August 3rd
Application deadline: February 15
The selected candidate will be notified via e-mail by March 1st
3RD 2012 RESIDENCY: September 3rd to December 17th
Application deadline June 15th
The selected candidate will be notified via e-mail by July 15th
